Sauna Opening Soon

Did you know that we have a Traditional Finnish Sauna at Institute of Sports and Spines.
A relaxing steam sauna can be a great way to unwind and destress. There is some evidence that a steam sauna can help detox the body and boost immune response.
Generally it is recommended that you should spend 30-45 minutes in the Sauna. Additionally, it is recommended not to spend more than an hour in the Sauna.
There are some contraindications; pregnancy, heart conditions, autoimmune presentations and respiratory illness should be cleared by your general practitioner before spending time in the Sauna
Our Sauna has been at our Tingalpa location since we opening, however, it was in need of some TLC.
The roof was leaking, the timber fitout inside was looking tired and rundown, the heater had failed. It generally looked tired and old.
Not any more!
We have now completely re-roofed the building, the interior has had new red cedar seating built, new lighting, new electricals and new heater.
Our Sauna will be opening to the public in the very near future.
We are planning on having opening times each day. Come in and have a sauna, or add the service to your treatment day. Bookings essential.
We would love your feedback on what times and days might suit you so we can tailor our sauna opening hours for best fit.
Call our friendly reception team on 07 3398 7022 for more information or to put your name down for a booking and call when we open the new facility.
