Don Williams (Chiropractor) is internationally recognised for his work in rehabilitation and sports injury management. In the late 80 he was an elite junior triathlete. However, his career was cut short when a car ran over him. He was misdiagnosed and poorly managed, As a result he required spinal surgery and rehabilitation. This inspirated Don to develop excellence in the diagnosis and management of musculoskeletal disorders.
Don is a university lecturer in rehabilitation and orthopaedics. He is a sessional lecturer at Griffith University School of Medicine. He lectures at CQUniversity in the Masters of Chiropractic Program. In addition he has worked around the world in rehabilitation and sports injury management. The development of Institute of Sports and Spines is the result of many years competing, working in and around the sports and rehabilitation field.
Don has great experience and a keen desire, assessing and treating a wide range of international and national level athletes. Additionally, he also works with weekend warriors and non-athletes, Firstly, to identify what the injury is, secondly, why they are getting injured, and lastly, how to best manage or treat the problem. In short, whether you need to have an injury diagnosed, a rehabilitation program designed, or simply want your back pain addressed, Don Williams would be happy to help you achieve the outcome you desire.
