Don Williams is a Chiropractor and Exercise Physiologist who has worked internationally in rehabilitation and sports injury management. In the late 80 he was an elite junior triathlete. However, his career was cut short following a car accident when he was out training. He was misdiagnosed and poorly managed, As a result he required spinal surgery and rehabilitation. This inspirated him to develop excellence in the diagnosis and management of musculoskeletal disorders. The progression was into a healthcare career spanning more than 30 years in managing and treating people with a range of injuries and requirements,

Don is a highly experienced chiropractor and educator who specialises in diagnosing and treating complex musculoskeletal conditions. His commitment to patient care began with his own story: in the late 1980s, he competed as an elite junior triathlete until a car accident ended his sporting career. Misdiagnosis and poor treatment forced him into spinal surgery and a long rehabilitation. That experience inspired him to dedicate his career to helping others recover properly and return to full function.

  • University Lecturer – He has been a lecturer for more than 20 years in Rehabilitation, Orthopaedics, Anatomy and Physiology with appointments at CQUniversity (Masters of Chiropractic Program), Griffith University (School of Medicine) and University of Queensland (Anatomy Department)

  • International Experience – worked across the world in rehabilitation, sports injury management, and multidisciplinary care.

  • Conference Speaker – in addition to University lecturing, he has done numerous presentation at conferences covering; hip assessment and management, orthopaedic assessment and management of the knee, rehabilitation, sports testing and training and low back disorders.
  • Founder of Institute of Sports and Spines – established the clinic to deliver evidence-based treatment and rehabilitation for athletes and the local community.
