About Max
Max is a Physiotherapist and Nutritionist with over 10 years of experience as a health professional, supporting clients with rehabilitation, recovery, performance and long-term health.
Having lived with coeliac disease for more than 25 years, Max has a deep personal and professional understanding of the important role nutrition plays in health, exercise, recovery and physical performance. His approach combines evidence-based physiotherapy, exercise and nutrition strategies to help clients move better, recover effectively and build sustainable habits.
Max has been involved with Sports Medicine Australia for four years, lecturing within the Sports Trainer education program and contributing to the redevelopment of the nutrition curriculum.
Outside the clinic, Max has experience across a wide range of sports and physical pursuits, including sailing, bodybuilding, rock climbing and Muay Thai. Today, he is an avid runner, spearfisherman and snowboarder. These experiences give him a strong appreciation of how physical activity and nutrition work together to support performance, rehabilitation, recovery and long-term wellbeing.
Max believes nutrition should complement physiotherapy and exercise, helping clients optimise recovery, improve function and support lasting health outcomes—whether they are returning from injury, training for sport or simply striving to live a more active life.
Physiotherapy and nutrition work together by supporting both movement and recovery. Physiotherapy helps restore function, strength and mobility, while nutrition helps provide the energy and nutrients needed for healing, training adaptation and long-term health.
Let Max Cuneo Physiotherapist & Nutritionist provide you with the guidance and tools needed to move more effectively, stronger, and efficiently. His mission is to help you improve your diet, reduce risk of developing chronic disease, and improve overall well-being.
