Chee Yeap is an AHPRA-registered acupuncturist and Chinese medicine practitioner at the Institute of Sports and Spines in Tingalpa, Brisbane. He holds a Bachelor of Health Science in Traditional Chinese Medicine from the University of Technology Sydney and is a member of the Australian Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine Association (AACMA).

With more than seven years of clinical experience, Chee has a particular interest in musculoskeletal pain and rehabilitation, including back pain, neck pain, sciatica, shoulder and knee pain, headaches and sports-related injuries.

His broader clinical interests include stress and sleep concerns, digestive health and women’s health. Depending on the individual and their clinical presentation, Chee may incorporate techniques such as traditional acupuncture, electroacupuncture, moxibustion and cupping into a personalised treatment approach.

As part of the multidisciplinary team at Institute of Sports and Spines, Chee takes a calm, patient-centred approach. He takes time to understand each person’s symptoms, health history and goals and can work alongside other healthcare practitioners when appropriate.

Chee consults from our Tingalpa clinic at 1566 Wynnum Road, supporting patients from Brisbane’s eastern suburbs and Bayside communities.
